The review queue

A second look.
Where it matters.

A possible duplicate. A payment that needs a match. An entry with no category. See the evidence, decide, and undo if you need to.

Example: three entries wait for review, each with its category: a possible duplicate from Hardware Store (Household), a McDonald’s entry (Eating out) whose date the statement scan smudged, and a Spotify Family payment (Entertainment) €2.00 under the usual amount. The Hardware Store entry matches one already recorded on shop, date, amount €43.46 and bank reference DEMO-1843; removing the imported copy counts the purchase once, €43.46 instead of €86.92. The McDonald’s date is confirmed as 17 September and the Spotify payment is linked to its subscription. Nothing is deleted and the queue is clear.

Sample entries
  1. Kahu flags what doesn’t add up. A possible duplicate, a smudged date, a subscription €2.00 short. Each waits in one queue, in its category’s colour.
  2. The evidence, side by side. Same shop, same day, same amount, same bank reference. You can see why it was flagged.
  3. Answer each one. Remove the copy, confirm the date, link the payment. Nothing is deleted, and every answer can be undone.
How the queue works

You decide. Kahu shows its working.

Evidence

The details beside the decision.

Dates, amounts, accounts and references stay visible while you compare.

Your call

A suggestion is still a question.

Duplicates are never silently removed. Missing payments never become invented expenses.

A way back

Every decision can be undone.

A removed copy stops counting; it isn’t deleted. Change your mind and undo it.
